I am reviewing the movie After Earth directed by M. Night Shyamalan, starring Will Smith and Jaden Smith.


Synopsis:
Earth was invaded by creatures and humans had to leave. There new home is on a planet called Nova Prime. 1000 years later Cypher Raige (Will Smith) and Kitai Raige (Jaden Smith)  go on a bonding trip. A storm destroys their ship and they crash land on Earth where Kitai has to go on an adventure to get a homing signal out so they can get home.




Review:
It sucked. If you see the name M. Night Shyamalan on any movie after 2002 you don't see it. The plot was god awful, the acting sucked. One of the things that bugged me the most is that Will Smith is playing the same guy he plays in every movie. The post-apocalypse depressed man. He was really trying to push his sons acting career which we know is never going to kick off. The thing is that there is no character development, no lessons learned, you basically wasted an hour and a half of your life that you will never get back.



Overall:
If you are so bored you could die, watch this movie because it is basically committing suicide just watching this movie. I will give it 4/10 stars. Congrats After Earth you suck
