The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is an American film starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, and Dane DeHaan.

Synopsis:
In the newest part in the Spider-Man franchise Peter Parker continues his life with Gwen Stacy and his Aunt May. While unfolding the secrets of his father's path, he reunites with his friend Harry Osborne who has recently returned from boarding school. Peter also faces new threats such as Electro, and the Green Goblin.

Review:
I think I always enjoy movies more when I see them with a friend. I decidedly saw this movie with my friend, Naga and it was way fun. The plot was pretty good, the action sequences were awesome. The music was good most of the time. It was a good time at the movies. One of my biggest complaints is this movie advertises 3 villains but the truth is is really has 1.5 villains. At the very beginning he faces the rhino who is not technically "The Rhino" yet. He defeats this guy in about 7 minutes. Then you have Electro who is a solid villain most of the movie. Then you have the "Green Goblin" who has like a 5 minute battle but it is a good battle. I'm not saying it was an awesome battle but it was good. Another problem I had was most of the movie is Peter Parker finding out who he is. Which is fine but it's like when you're at a comic book store. There is the "Spider-Man" comic and the "Peter Parker" comic. You may buy both but honestly you want the comic book for "Spider-Man." It also has a run time of 2 hours and 33 minutes and the best thing is that they use every single minute. Unlike in the first one. You know when Peter is down in the sewer playing his phone. Yeah, none of that happens in this movie. Also, if you have not seen the first one yet, you might want to stay away. This movie does not really welcome new comers. It does show flashbacks to the first one, but not good enough flashbacks to help you fully understand.

Recommendation:
In the end I would say if you are dying to watch it go see it at full price but if you don't really care, wait until it comes into the dollar theater. And always, if you liked this review be sure to bookmark this page for more reviews. Thanks for reading.
